Welcome to Bllod. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bllod mobile application and website. By creating an account or using Bllod, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Bllod is a health data platform that helps you organize, understand, and track your lab results. Our service includes: AI-powered extraction — Upload lab report PDFs or photos and our AI extracts structured health markers automatically. Unified health timeline — All your lab results, markers, and health metrics organized in one private timeline. Medical coding — Your data is mapped to LOINC codes and organized following FHIR standards, making it medically interoperable. Trend tracking — Visualize how your health markers change over time with clear charts and insights.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bllod (or at least 16 in jurisdictions where a higher age of consent applies). By using Bllod, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you are using Bllod on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

Your Account

To use Bllod, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for: Account security — Maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. Bllod does not store passwords, but you must keep your Google or Apple account secure. Account activity — All activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. Accurate information — Ensuring your account information is current and accurate.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bllod only for its intended purpose — organizing and understanding your personal health data. You may not: • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code • Attempt to access other users' data or bypass security measures • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without authorization • Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

Bllod is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice. The information presented in Bllod — including extracted lab values, reference ranges, trends, and any insights — is for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not make health decisions based solely on information displayed in Bllod. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the app. Our AI extraction technology is designed to be accurate, but it may occasionally misread or misinterpret values from lab reports. Always verify critical health information with your original lab documents and your healthcare provider.

Intellectual Property

Our property — The Bllod application, website, brand, design, code, AI models, and all related technology are owned by Bllod and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service as intended. Your property — You own your health data. Lab results, markers, metrics, and any information you upload or enter into Bllod remain yours. We do not claim ownership over your content.

Your Content and Data

By uploading content to Bllod (lab reports, health metrics, personal information), you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. This license exists only for as long as your account is active. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload is yours or that you have the right to share it. Subscriptions and Payments

Bllod offers a free tier and premium subscription plans. Key terms: Free tier — Core functionality is available at no cost. We do not collect different types of data based on your plan. Premium subscriptions — Unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Payment processing — All payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your credit card number or payment details. Cancellation — You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Bllod available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to: • Scheduled maintenance and updates • Infrastructure issues beyond our control • Security incidents requiring immediate action We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of significant changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: No medical liability — Bllod is not liable for any health decisions you make based on information displayed in the app. We are not a healthcare provider. AI accuracy — While we strive for high accuracy in data extraction, we are not liable for errors in AI-extracted values. Always verify with original documents. Service interruptions — We are not liable for damages resulting from service downtime, data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to secure your credentials. Liability cap — Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Bllod shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Termination

By you — You may delete your account at any time through the app. Upon deletion, your personal data and health records are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. By us — We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. We will provide notice when possible. Effect of termination — Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. If you are located in the European Union, you also retain any mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of your country of residence. We encourage resolving disputes informally first — contact us at [email protected]. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of Sao Paulo, Brazil, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws require a different jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Bllod after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.

Open Source and Third-Party Services

Bllod uses open-source software and third-party services. These components are subject to their own licenses and terms. Key third-party services include Supabase (infrastructure), Google and Apple (authentication and payments), and cloud providers (hosting). Our use of these services does not alter your rights under these terms.
